Why does my dryer run but not dry the clothes?
Tell us whether there is no heat at all or whether clothes simply take longer to dry. Mention the cycle used and whether the drum turns normally. Heating, airflow and cycle-control issues need different assessments.
Can you look at a squeaking or noisy dryer?
Unusual squeaking, scraping or vibration is a useful symptom to describe. Explain when the sound occurs and whether the drum still turns. The sound alone is not enough to identify which part needs repair.
